Product Introduction
Polyurethane sandwich board is a latest addition to the family of high-performance building materials. It is fabricated using two layers of metal sheet, which are usually made of galvanized steel plate, color steel plate, or other suitable materials, with a layer of polyurethane hard foam core material sandwiched in the middle. The combination of metal sheet and polyurethane core material in a sandwiched structure gives the polyurethane sandwich board the strength of metal sheet and the excellent performance of polyurethane core material.
The polyurethane rigid foam core material utilized in the sandwich panel is produced under specific necessary conditions by mixing isocyanate and polyol. The resultant foam core material has a uniform, fine, and closed cell structure inside, which enhances its performance. The production process of sandwich panels is highly advanced, ensuring that the layers are tightly combined to form a whole, resulting in high-performance panels ideal for use in various construction applications.
Our product has several excellent characteristics that make it a top choice for contractors:
The polyurethane material we use has an extremely low thermal conductivity, between 0.018-0.024 W/(m · K). This is much lower than traditional insulation materials. The closed cell structure of polyurethane effectively reduces heat conduction, convection, and radiation, allowing buildings to stay warm in winter and cool in summer, reducing energy consumption and achieving energy-saving and emission reduction.
By adding appropriate flame retardants, our polyurethane sandwich panels can achieve different fire ratings. In the event of a fire, it can effectively delay the spread of the fire, inhibit the spread of the flame, reduce heat release and smoke generation, improve the fire safety of the building, and gain valuable time for personnel evacuation and fire rescue.
Polyurethane is a hydrophobic material, and the closed-cell structure prevents water penetration. Our sandwich board effectively resists the erosion of rain, snow, and humid air, avoiding thermal insulation performance decline, mold, rot, and other problems caused by moisture, and ensuring the long-term stability of the thermal insulation system.
The upper and lower layers of sheet metal provide sufficient strength for the sandwich board to withstand large external forces. The polyurethane core material also gives the sandwich board a certain elasticity and toughness, ensuring the stability of the building structure.
The polyurethane sandwich board has a good barrier effect on the transmission of sound, creating a quiet and comfortable living and working space for people. The sound insulation effect depends on the thickness and density of the sandwich board.
Polyurethane sandwich panels usually have standardized sizes and specifications, are relatively light in weight, and are easy to handle and install. At the construction site, a variety of installation methods can be used, such as splicing, anchoring, etc. The installation process is simple and fast, effectively shortening the construction period and reducing the construction cost.
The outer metal sheet can have a variety of colors and surface treatment methods, such as galvanized and color coating. This makes the sandwich board appearance beautiful and generous, meeting the needs of different architectural styles. The metal sheet and polyurethane core have good durability and can resist the erosion of natural factors such as ultraviolet light, chemical substances, and temperature changes, extending the service life.
